With award season kicking off soon, and fashion week in full flow, it’s time to talk trends. Each new year brings with it a whole host of hot beauty trends and we can definitely get on board with 2019’s offering. Tickled pink
If you pride yourself on being a girlie girl, this trend is definitely for you. Red carpets have long been awash with celebrities matching their eyeshadow to their dresses. And while coordination is no new trend, monochromatic makeup has been given a makeover, especially the colour pink. In fact, several big beauty brands are dedicating entire palettes to pink hues, leading to everyone debuting all pink everything make-up looks. Swoon!
Green with envy
Last year saw blue eye makeup get a radical makeover so that it no longer screams “Prom 1983!” Makeup artists are finally experimenting with colour again, and while blue might be taking a backseat, it’s being swiftly replaced with 50 shades of green.
